Audi Joins 2009 Gary Player Invitational as Official Vehicle Sponsor
Black Knight International is delighted to welcome Audi South Africa as the Official Vehicle sponsor for the 2009 Gary Player Invitational presented by Coca-Cola, hosted by The Links, Fancourt, from November 26-29, 2009.
Audi has embraced a new partnership by way of coming on board as a sponsor of South Africa’s premier charity golf tournament. The GPI SA also incorporates other leading companies: Coca-Cola, SAP, Rolex, Brandhouse, UPS and Callaway.
Joining the Gary Player Invitational presented by Coca-Cola is a natural progression for Audi South Africa, having previously partnered with the South African Open, the Alfred Dunhill Championship and acted as host of the annual Audi quattro Cup.
Ryan Searle, General Manager of Audi Sales and Marketing, said: “Audi South Africa has had a presence on the golfing circuit internationally for many years and we are delighted to be associated with this unique and exciting opportunity to demonstrate our unrivaled performance and reliability.
“With a field of exciting world-class players, premier sponsors and an end goal to raise money and awareness for the less fortunate, the Gary Player Invitational series continue to raise the bar for charity around the world. It is exciting to be involved again with such a prestigious event and we’re looking forward to playing our part in its success.
“We are delighted to welcome Audi of South Africa back on board as a valuable addition to our family of sponsors and partners of the Gary Player Invitational series,” said Marc Player, CEO of Black Knight International.
“We congratulate Audi and our other sponsors for the manner in which they embrace the Gary Player Invitational. Their support and commitment to the tournament will ensure the event continues to go from strength to strength.”
“In time, we hope that their commitment to South Africa’s premier charity event might soon extend to include the entire international series.”
