Europe Event Information

Gary Player and a host of VIP corporate and celebrity friends will gather at the prestigious Archerfield Links for the 2010 Gary Player Invitational. Each competing team of 3 amateur guests will be joined by a high-profile celebrity or professional golfer, representing an excellent cross-section of business, sports, entertainment and society.

Tournament Format

The Gary Player Invitational (GPI) is the UK’s leading Pro-Celebrity charity golf event, offering companies a fantastic platform for entertainment and networking whilst also raising money for an incredibly worthy cause - The Player Foundation.

Guests arrive into Edinburgh on Sunday, 18 July 2010.  Each team of three amateur guests is joined by either a Pro or Celebrity, competing in a team alliance medal competition where the two best scores on each hole will count.

The golf is followed by drinks at the Clubhouse. After freshening up and a little relaxation time, guests are treated to an amazing Champagne Reception followed by the main Gala Dinner and Auction.
