Claudia Schönfeld is a major shareholder of Alfred E. Tiefenbacher GmbH (AET), Hamburg/Germany, one of the largest European fully integrated developers of pharmaceutical generic formulations.
AET’s services include patent search, monitoring of clinical studies, dosage form development and handling of registration procedures of medicines and was founded in 1963. AET is located in Hamburg/Germany, Hyderabad/India, Nicosia/Cyprus and Gzira/Malta. More than 600 products developed by AET are marketed all over Europe by major generic pharmaceutical players.

Schönfeld is mother of three children. She worked in Africa for three years and still today is supporting several development projects in Kenya and India.
Claudia admires Gary Player for his outstanding achievements in life, his self control, his sportsmanship and social engagement.

Schönfeld made her first appearance at the Gary Player Invitational presented by Coca-Cola at Fancourt in 2010 when she teed it up alongside Brian Lara, Gary Player & Lee-Anne Pace.

Schönfeld, who plays off a nine handicap in Germany, and her husband Dieter are both members of the second oldest golf club in Germany, the Wentorf-Reinbeker Golf Club e.V. in Hamburg.
