Scott DeSano

Scott DeSano spent six years at Salomon Brothers and First Boston in NYC before joining Fidelity Investments in Boston in 1991.  There he built a High Income and Emerging Markets trading desk and in 1996 was made Head of Global Equity Trading, responsible for trading desks in Boston, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and London.  These desks in aggregate traded over $1.5 trillion a year in equity securities.  He retired from Fidelity Investments in 2007 and took a position as CEO of Green Frontiers Energy Group, a renewable energy company. 

An eight handicapper, DeSano is a member of Muirfield Village Golf Club, the home of Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament and Sebonack Golf Club site of the 2013 US Women’s Open. DeSano is no stranger to the Gary Player Invitational format, having played in three Alfred Dunhill Links Championships, 10 AT&T’ Pro-Ams at Pebble Beach, two Bob Hope Classics and three Deutshe Bank Championships.
