USA Event Information

8-9 April 2012

The Gary Player Invitational will stage a field consisting of celebrities, Pro Tour professionals and top businessmen. The event will be a one-day pro-am played at Champions Retreat in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Sunday 8 April
3:00 - 11:00 pm Open House at the Player Residence at Champions Retreat.  Come by to watch the final round, relax and have some food and drinks.

April 9th Itinerary
7:30 -  9:00 am Breakfast at the Champions Retreat Clubhouse
9:00 -  9:45 am Warm up on practice range.  Gary Player will be on the range welcoming our guests and providing a few swing tips.
9:45 - 10:00 am Players head to their assigned starting hole for shotgun start.  The Tournament Director will be at the practice range to provide a briefing of the tournament and direct players to their correct locations. 
10:00 am Shotgun start
4:00   pm Tournament ends
6:30   pm Gala dinner, auction and tournament awards at the Champions Retreat Clubhouse.

Tournament Format

The Gary Player Invitational is a Pro-Am team competition pairing one professional with three amateurs.
